NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Margaret Clemmer Groves, wife of the late Kenneth Groves, entered into rest, Thursday, June 25, 2009 at National Health Care. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 2pm in the Chapel of Rowland Funeral Home with Jay Knotts officiating. Mrs. Groves was a native of Dallas, NC and was a retired nurse. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aiken, a member of North Augusta Country Club, Womens Golf Association and the Red Hat Society. Mrs. Groves family includes: one son: John C. Groves, Augusta, GA, two daughters: Brenda (Pickens) Redd, North Augusta, SC, and June Groves Montjoy, Fairburn, GA; and two brothers: Luther Clemmer, Denver, Co and Jack Clemmer, Lake Norman, NC and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday afternoon for an hour before the service from 1 pm to 2 pm.
