South Carolina opens with 2 night games

COLUMBIA, S.C. - South Carolina will open with two night games, both telecast by ESPN.

The school said Wednesday that the Gamecocks opener at North Carolina State on Thursday, Sept. 3 will begin at 7 p.m. That game will be broadcast by ESPN.

The next contest at Georgia on Saturday, Sept. 12, will also start at 7 p.m. That game will be shown on ESPN2.

A time for South Carolina's home opener with Florida Atlantic on Sept. 19 has not yet been set.
