CHINO HILLS, Calif. - Our brave and wonderful Darline, 31, of Chino Hills, lost her battle with cancer while surrounded by family and friends at St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton, CA. She was born on March 1, 1978 at St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton, CA. Darline, or as she is affectionately called "Dar", is survived by the love of her life, Davis, her loving parents John and Linda Sacquety and her sister Lisa Sacquety. She was loved and adored by her grandparents, Ralph and Darline Campbell, Aunt Norma and Uncle Les Strahm, Aunt Jann and Uncle Jim Faust and her cousins Cindy and Meredith. Davis' parents Marc and Cheryl Wilson and June and Bob Peel of Augusta Georgia, along with their family, were very special to Darline and supportive during this journey. Darline went to elementary school in Diamond Bar. After the family moved to Chino Hills, she attended Ayala High School and graduated in 1996. Dar went on to Cal State Fullerton where she received her B.A. degree followed by a Masters Degree from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. While Darline was completing her internship in Georgia at the Georgia Shakespeare Festival, she met a wonderful man, Davis, who soon became her husband. They resided in Georgia for a time then moved back to Chino Hills, CA. Once back in California, she worked for South Coast Repertory Theatre in Costa Mesa. Darline's greatest passion in life besides her husband Davis was animals, which included her three beloved dogs, Coda, Calla and Kaya who were adopted from a shelter. She volunteered her time with animals locally and at Best Friends Sanctuary in Utah. There was never a stray animal that Darline would not rescue. As Darline shared with our family, she only had one regret in her life and that was that she would not witness California become a no-kill state for unwanted animals. Darline's passing at such a young age has left a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. She has many family and friends who will miss her and our lives will never be the same. The family wishes to thank everyone for all the love and support we have seen through these past 16 months. We will be holding a celebration of her life in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to a wonderful organization in which Darline was involved with: Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Phone: 435.644.2001 ext. 4801. Mail: Best Friends Animal Society, Darline Sacquety Wilson Memorial Fund, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah 84741- 5000.
