Jacket hits homer in South's 8-7 loss

In Charleston, W.Va., Augusta's Juan Perez hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning of the South's 8-7 loss to the North in the South Atlantic League All-Star Game on Tuesday night.

Perez finished 1-for-2. He struck out in his other plate appearance.

The score was tied 7-7 heading into the bottom of the ninth before the North scored the winning run with one out on a throwing error.
