WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Holley entered into rest on Sunday, June 21st, at Burke County Hospital. Originally from New Jersey, she moved to the Augusta area during the 1970's. She loved music and the outdoors and could be found headphones on tending to the land, first for Red Apple Acres and then Applewood Golf Course where she earned the title "The Apple Lady". The results of her talents are on display at the course every spring and fall. Pat is survived by her two sons, Troyelus Schanck, IV, Freemont, N.C. and Franklin Holley, Hephzibah, Ga. There will be a gathering of friends at Applewood Golf Course on Wed., June 24th, at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted to the Pat Holley Memorial Fund c/o Applewood Golf Course, 6130 Story Mill Road, Keysville, Ga. 30816. She is deeply loved and will be sorely missed. God bless her and keep her safe in his arms until we meet again.
