The enemy -us -is winning

Obama is Caesar, and will rule, not govern nor lead!

The black population, understandably proud that one of their own had reached this pinnacle, voted overwhelmingly for him. White liberals, perhaps aware of the terrible history of the Democrats and race relations, voted for him to assuage their own guilt at their party's record of pro-slavery, anti-civil rights, segregation, The Ku Klux Klan and Jim Crow laws!

These were all authored by Democrats, not Republicans!

Certainly no one bothered to scrutinize Caesar and his past associations, nor question what the "change" he promised meant! Now we see, and he's coming after your health care under the ruse of "saving" it, just like the other businesses he has made wards of the government!

The words Marxist, socialist, and communist, of course, do not resonate with our citizens, especially the younger age groups. They have no memory or experience as a point of reference, so these are just words that have no real significance to them! Yet, in their youthful hubris, they feel they are the wisest of the wise! They casually dismiss the difference between the above and free-market capitalism as inconsequential.

Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez states that "Comrade Obama is more left wing than (Chavez) is!"

An article in the former Soviet newspaper Pravda remarks on the swiftness of our descent into Marxism under Caesar!

As a consequence of Caesar's coronation, we once again have a monarch to replace King George III; but Caesar, too, has the markings of a tyrant, and so, perhaps this is how and where our republic ends.

We have come full circle, to be destroyed by the greed and ignorance of our own citizens just as Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev predicted! As the comic strip character "Pogo" would say, "we have met the enemy and he is us!"

Robert Smock, Hephzibah

If one would read the

If one would read the writings of Carl Marx then they would know why people call the progressives' actions Marxist. Also, if one would read how Hitler came to power and his actions prior to WWII, then you would understand why people call Obama's actions Fascist. I believe from Obama's actions, not his words, that he is a Fascist by definition. Obama can say what he is, but he is defined by his actions not his words. People are identified by their trade or their profession, so is a politician.

RCR, of course he didn't

RCR, of course he didn't campaign on his opponents lack of experience...McCain has been a soldier and office holder for too long to try that one. And you voted to take the country in a "different" direction, you just didn't care that it was downhill (quicker than any republican could have I might add). So you got different. Enjoy it while you can. It won't be long before you're crying and apologizing to america.

Well folks, they said the

Well folks, they said the same things about FDR in the 1930's. Called him a Socialist because he was passing legislation to get us out of the Great Depression. Hoover was a GOP President that put us in the mess caused by greedy Wall Street bankers who did the right thing in those days by taking a swan dive out the building. Now we let them stay in their penthouses. So this kind of name calling went on back then by the Republicans. So it's no different today. Marx said this and that, blah blah. He also said that if you whine and complain you can go to Siberia or be shot right here in Moscow. They did not have any compassion for malcontents. And the freeloaders had to work, because there was no welfare. So quit moaning because today nobody is really listening.

NIKO, when you get your head
Unpublished

NIKO, when you get your head pulled out of a certain cavity of your body, maybe you'll look at the facts. FDR didn't get us out of the Great Depression, the war did. This Democrat was the only president arrogant enough to want and get 4 terms, instead of 2. The depression was caused by the greed of the 1920's...you know, the stuff F. Scott Fitzgerlad wrote about? It wasn't caused by Herbert Hoover, as you wish to blame. You even incorrectly used the term "freeloader," saying that since there was no welfare, they had to work. If they had to work, how could they be a freeloader? Keep posting, NIKO...we're all having a good laugh seeing you for the blind, liberal idiot you are!

The Democratics (this for

The Democratics (this for HootFot) put up two candidates last election. A moderate do nothing who is strong on national defense and weak on all other policies and a Marxist that promised that only the rich would be taxed and that all would be Utopia if he were elected god. Obama ran the MUCH better campaign, though he had the advantage of no opponent. Now we have a black president who is very smart and very anti-American. His pro-Marxist ways are being supported in an effort to make us a European clone. I guess we needed this experiment to show us just how much worse things can get. The big question is, will the country wake from its stupor in time to slow this mad man down in 2010 and will we even have the opportunity to defend ourselves in 2012, or will Obama run a campaign like his friends in Iran? Is this the beginning of the Ayatollah Obama?

I trust the U-Haul is backed up to Smock's door this very moment if, "this is how and where our republic ends." Good riddance if you drop your monthly sob-story installments at the shredder's. Better if you hook Chicken PT Little's wagon to your Airstream also. Don't forget to turn off the lights, and you both can please forget the postcards.

Pat, the GOP is dead meat in 2010. They have done nothing to change our minds. All they do, is cricize the president in hopes someone will buy their falacies. Just listen at Lindsey Graham yesterday. What do he want president Obama to do? Talk tough, like former president Bush.Yeah, that will scare the Mullahs.LOL They(Republicans) will say anything, in hopes of regaining power.See ya at the polls.

And yet you plea to be called a myrmidon. Are you in conflict fd1962? And can anyone marginalize you better than yourself? Should I not respond to what you claim as a life philosophy? Do you consider a direct response an affectation? If so, I don't see any fault with my questions.
