HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mrs. Josefine Moir of Centurion Drive in Hephzibah passed away in peace on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at her residence with her family in attendance. Mrs. Moir is survived by her son, Robert Moir and his wife, Clara, of Hephzibah; her daughter, Eleonore Ortiz and her husband, Walter, of Hephzibah; her granddaughter, Ellen Bland and her husband, Patrick, of North Augusta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alastair Moir, in 1991. Mrs. Moir attended Berean Baptist Church. As a life long animal lover, the family requests that all gifts and memorials be sent to the CSRA Humane Society, 425 Wood Street, Augusta, 30904, or online at www.csrahumanesociety.org . Mrs. Moir, as she wished, was cremated and memorial services will be announced at a later date.
