GIBSON, Ga. - Mrs. Louise D. Holley, 82, widow of Mr. Ray Holley, died Thursday, June 18, 2009 in the Gibson Rest & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Widener officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Holley was a native of Kershaw County, S.C., but had lived in Gibson for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gibson First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Lewis Howell. She is survived by a daughter, Joan (David) Crosby, Baxley; two sons, Terry (Marcia) Howell, Gibson, and William Howell, Thomson; two sisters, Estelle Whitehead and Grace Chalker, both of Gibson; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
