For example, I feel that the unsubstantiated, hateful claims you make in this letter redound negatively on YOUR morality. Maybe there isn't $8 a gallon gas -YET. But gas is beginning to rise again and it sure ain't Bush in the White House letting it happen to help his oil buddies. So which oil buddies does Obama have that he is allowing them to get even richer during these hard times for lots of folks? If it's good for the goose then it's good for the gander. If it was Bush's fault then it has got to be Obama's fault now. Of course he could take over the oil companies and lower gas prices - OH wait, that is Chavez, what the heck am I thinking!

Does anyone who posts here ever have any suggestions to what needs to be done? Everyone makes their points of criticism, but never suggests what would really make things better. I can respect the fact that everyone has an opinion, but I don't have to rant about what I think of that opinion. Most of the time BOTH sides are just hateful. As for me...I don't like the direction things are going currently. I think the government needs to back away and let the economy take care of itself. Banks and industry just need to "bleed out". This is the way we learn what not to do.

When Government Motors can't sell those little cars, a $5/gal gas tax will encourage us to buy them. We will also give $4,500 to those who bought the gas guzzlers - I am not eligible since I bought a car that gets more than 18mpg. I thought that I was being smart!
