LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Fleming Murray, Jr., will be held Friday, June 19, 2009 at First Baptist Church at 2:00p.m. with Rev. Dennis J. Quinn and Rev. Roy D. Andrews officiating. Interment will be in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Fleming Murray, Jr. was born in Lincolton, Ga., on December 9, 1937 to the union of Mrs. Azalee T. and Mr. Fleming Murray, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory: one adopted son, Corey Murray of Reading, Pa; two sisters, Evelyn M. Norman of Lincolnton, Ga. , Frances M. Gilbert of Augusta, Ga.; one brother Alexander (Roma) Murray of Suffolk, VA.; one aunt, Minnie T. Evans of Washington, GA.; four Nephews, Ernest (Rhonda) Norman, Jr. Of Evans, GA., Warren (Lisa) Murray of Powder Springs, GA., Carswell S. Gilbert and Reginald A. Gilbert of Augusta, Ga.; three nieces, Angela (Michael Day of Fredericksburg, Va., Eileen (George) Mays Of Eatonton, Ga., and Zelina (Dewey) Stewart of Fredericks, Md.; and a host of additional relatives and friends.
