AUGUSTA, Ga. - Larry Masters, 61, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at University Hospital. He was a devoted father, and he loved his family.

Larry was the owner of Masters' Gold Emporium and Summerville Jewelry and Gifts. Mr. Masters was employed at Carole Fabrics. He was a lifelong member of Green Meadows Golf Club. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Sumter Miles, and father, Leon Masters. Larry is survived by his companion, Fran Rester, two sons, Lynn (Cyd) Masters of Evans, and Christopher (Kimberly) Masters of Martinez; two brothers, Ronnie Masters, and fiance, Patsy Tate of Augusta, and Jimmy (Billie) Masters of Florida; four grandchildren, Taylor Elizabeth Masters, Noah Jeffery Masters, Ashlyn Elizabeth Masters, and Lauren Rene Masters; his beloved MinPin, Zippy, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11:00a.m. Friday, June 19, 2009 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
