MARTINEZ, Ga. - Margret Gretel Huggins, 73, of Martinez, Georgia entered into rest Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Margret was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 47 years, Art Huggins, in 2004. She was born in Laineck, Germany. She has lived in Martinez since 1977. She worked as the Design Department Supervisor of Martina's Flowers and Gifts for 28 years. She is survived by her son, Ronald Huggins of Augusta; her daughter, Carol (Wes) Huggins Rauch of Martinez; two precious grandchildren, Kristin and Laney Rauch of Martinez; one brother, Ludwig Behrschmidt of Germany; and three nieces, Claudia, Katja and Birgit Behrschmidt all of Germany. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, June 18, 2009 from 5:00 until 7:00 with a funeral service to follow in the chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
