AGE: 35

HOMETOWN: Athens

OCCUPATION: Nude model for student artists at Augusta State University, the University of South Carolina Aiken and Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art

PLAYS: Bass trombone and keyboard

PLAYS WITH: The Favors, since 2006; Augusta State's orchestra, since 1998

BEST CONCERT ATTENDED: Bonnaroo, Manchester, Tenn., 2003. "The second year I went, we just found a spot, and we just made friends with the people that were surrounded by us and kind of just founded our own utopia ... And it was just the music. There was just so much music at each different venue. So that's pretty much what I liked about it."

TV FAVORITES: Georgia Public Broadcasting and ETV

BEST PERFORMANCE: Augusta State University Orchestra, Grover C. Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre, 2004. "We just had a solid orchestra, and we sounded really, really good. ...We were just all in sync. It just flowed so well. "

FIRST SONG HE LEARNED ON TROMBONE: Mary Had A Little Lamb

MUSICAL ROOTS: "I was 10, and I wanted to play saxophone, but (my middle school band) had too many.

So I had to pick another instrument, and I picked trombone over trumpet.

It took me awhile to actually learn how to play it; but once I did, I've just loved it ever since. Keyboards -- actually when I was going to school for music at ASU, you had to be piano proficient in order to graduate, so I just became proficient at piano."

FAVORITE ALBUM: Joe's Garage: Acts I, II & III, by Frank Zappa
