THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. James 'Jimmy' Dobbins, Sr., 80, widower of Mrs. Betty W. Dobbins, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, in the Gwinnett Medical Center, in Lawrenceville. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Thomson. Mr. Dobbins was native of Hattiesburg, Miss., but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was a retired Businessman, having worked for the Wilson Company for over 30 years. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Thomson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Betty Dobbins and his daughter, Denise Dobbins. He is survived by his son, Mr. James Dobbins Jr., Buford. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
