THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Joann D. Davis, 60, beloved wife of Mr. James Davis, of Davis Circle, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Davis was a native of McDuffie County. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Mr. James Davis, Thomson; two daughters, Tina Wells and Tammy Davis, both of Thomson; a son, Joey Davis, Thomson; a step-son, James Davis Jr., Thomson; two granddaughters, Lacy Tapley and Madison Davis, both of Thomson; and a brother, Larry Dye, Thomson. Pallbearers will be Chris Dye, Lee Dye, Nick Davis, Mike Huff, Randy Huff, and Wayne Bowick. Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home.
