Alisa Goler and Kristin Schnake homered for the sixth-seeded Bulldogs (47-11), who overcame two home runs and a World Series-record seven RBI by Washington's Niki Williams.
The teams played again Sunday night, with the winner advancing to the best-of-three championship series.
Georgia rallied from a three-run deficit for the second game in a row and took an 8-4 lead before Williams hit a grand slam in the fifth to pull the Huskies (48-12) even.

Ali Gardiner hit a walk-off grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the seventh as top-seeded Florida stunned Alabama to advance to the championship round for the first time.
Gardiner sent a 2-1 pitch from Alabama ace Kelsi Dunne (28-5) the opposite way, clearing the left-field fence as Whitney Larsen fell over the top as she tried to make a game-saving catch.
The Gators (63-3) won for the 29th consecutive time and will face either third-seeded Washington or sixth-seeded Georgia in the best-of-three championship series beginning tonight.
