SANDERSVILLE, Ga. - Mr. Famon Lawrence, Jr., 3347 Highway 242, Sandersville, Ga., died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Mount Olive Baptist Church, Warthen, Ga., with Rev. Henry L. Tanner officiating. The body will lie in state from 12 noon until the hour of the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
