ALBANY, Ga. - On Saturday evening May 23, 2009 around 4:20 p.m. God said, "That's enough!" So, He told Desmond (affectionately known as Pooh) to enter into perfect rest from pain, sickness, and trials. Desmond was born on July 25, 1980 in Albany, Ga., to Maggie Dawson and Leroy Dunn. Desmond was a 1998 graduate of Monroe Comprehensive High School. Finding his soul mate and the love of his life, Desmond took as his bride, the former Crystal Laramore on June 24, 2006. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Albany, Ga. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Cherishing his memories are his devoted wife, Crystal Day; a son, Kahlil Day; daughter, Jayla Strawder; mother, Maggie Dawson all of Albany; Father and stepmother, Leroy and Mary Dunn, Augusta; three sisters: Jacquelyn Day (Greg) Bradley, Lawrenceville; Lauren Dunn, Albany and Lena Dunn, Augusta; three brothers: Earnest Larry Day, Jr., Albany; Jonathan Morgan, Augusta, and Kederick (Tasha) Grant, Atlanta; two brothers-in-law, Nicholas Laramore and Dexter Mosley, Albany; Grandmother, Sallie Perry, Leary; Grandfather, Randolph Dunn, Augusta; Great grandmother, Louise Crayton, Albany; Father and mother-in-law, Frank and Rosemary Laramore, Albany; Grandmother-in-law, Mary Plummer, Albany.
