Saturday at Wildwood Park

Entry fee $75 per team, including $10 toward the big fish pot. Tournament hours safe light until 3 p.m. Late entrants should be at the ramp before daylight. First-place team will earn a guaranteed $5,000 plus two gold pendants in the shapes of leaping largemouth bass donated by jeweler Leonard "Tank" Tankersley. One place will be paid for every 10 boats entered. A polygraph test will be given to the winners. The Anglers Channel will provide coverage of the tournament and weigh-in and Bobby Jones Ford will sponsor a cookout.

Lake Springs ramps

Entry fee $22 per boat ($2 going to year-end Classic payback). Registration at the ramp before the tournament. Hours are 6-11 p.m. Payback based on the number of boats entered each week. Year-end Classic set Aug. 29. Entry fee $55 (includes $5 toward big fish pot). Hours 5 p.m.-midnight. To qualify for the Classic, entrants must have fished a minimum of two Saturday night tournaments. Otherwise, a $45 charge plus $55 entry fee ($100 total) must be paid. American Bass Anglers is the largest tournament trail for the weekend angler, with more than 116 districts offering more than 1,000 tournaments throughout the nation. Membership is open to anyone 16 years old and over, but is closed to professional fishermen and professional guides. Those under 18 must have their parents' consent.
