HEADLINE: GM BORROWS $4 billion more, prepares for bankruptcy. Why does a company that knows it's going bankrupt go $4 billion more in the hole? That makes no sense at all. And what sensible lender would lend even one dollar, much less $4 billion, to them but the Obama U.S. Treasury? Total insanity reigns.
I AGREE with a recent ranter's statement about turn signals. They were put on vehicles to be used, They are not just ornaments. I will also be so very glad when cell phone usage in vehicles is outlawed. There is no reason to be driving something which can cause the death of another and be talking on a cell phone.
RE: CREDIT CARD problems: Obama says he does not "excuse or condone folks who've acted irresponsibly." When he's bailing out unworthy borrowers with your tax money, he is both excusing and condoning those irresponsible folks.
IF SOME KNOWN terrorists had been waterboarded before 911, we might not have had 911. Waterboarding some terrorists probably saved both many military and civilian lives. They have also given important information on upcoming terror attacks. Good grief!
WHEN IS AMERICA going to reach out to those in need in this country who truly need help, instead of sending money abroad?
A BIG RAVE to the Navy men and women who volunteered their time for Euchee Creek Elementary School's field day. You were wonderful with the students. Just wanted to let you know we appreciate you.

THE STIMULUS standoff by South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford has boosted the GOP's reputation as the Party of No.
COLIN POWELL had perfect timing in his career. He came along when blacks had a better than average shot at military rank. The he got into the political side of things, and again his color actually worked in his favor. Now he's letting color color his politics. He's favoring the Obama side while still claiming to be a Republican after having used the Republican Party as a way to success in politics.
