KITE, Ga. - Janice Kersey Atkinson, age 54, died Sunday, May 24, 2009. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 27, at 2 p.m., at Pilgrims Rest Primitive Baptist Church near Kite, Ga. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Kersey family cemetery, near Kite. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
