STATESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Mildred Groover Newton, 84, passed away on Sunday, May 24th. Visitation will be Tuesday, 5-7 pm, at Joiner- Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 pm at the Gracewood Baptist Church. The body will lie-in-state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Elam Baptist Church Cemetery in Jenkins County. Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro in charge of arrangements.
