HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Emmanuel Baldwin, Sr. entered into rest on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 1 p.m. at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park with full military honors. Mr. Baldwin, a native of Walla Walla, Virginia, was retired from the U. S. Army as Staff Sergeant after twenty one years of service. He was a member of Prince Hall Masonic Lodge, Ft. Knox, KY and a member of Post 5 Club, Norfolk, VA. Survivors are his wife, Linda Baldwin; one son, Emmanuel (Bernita) Baldwin, Jr., Norfolk, VA; two daughters, Tammy Powell, Norfolk, VA, April Baldwin, Augusta; three sisters, Lena Parrish, S. Gail Perkins, Manasas, VA, DeFlorence Baldwin, Atlanta; two brothers, Walla Baldwin, Norfolk, VA, Algy Baldwin, Falls Church, VA; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and other relatives.
