AUGUSTA - Jessica and Shawn Holmes of Hephzibah, Ga. are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Jacob Shawn Holmes, born April 27, 2009 at Trinity Hospital in Augusta. He made his debut at 10:17 p.m., weighed 6lbs 7oz and was 17 inches long. Proud grandparents are Lindsey and Judy Holmes, Minnie Freeman and the late Jesse Sherrod, all of Augusta.
