Johnny Trail (MCCORMICK, S.C.)

MCCORMICK, S.C. - Johnny Pate Trail, 34, resident of 295 Highway 378 East, husband of Marie Collins Trail, died May 21, 2009 from injuries sustained from a fall at work. Born in Greenwood on February 19, 1975, he was the son of John Edward Trial and Evelyn Weeks Trail. Johnny was a carpenter with Fortner Builders of Ninety Six and was of the Baptist faith. He was a devoted husband and loving dad. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home, father of Greenwood and mother of Bowman, GA area son, Pateyn H. Trail, of the home; a daughter, Mady Maddison Trail, of the home; and a sister, Patricia Trail of Greenwood. Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Sunday from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Prince officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Austin Collins, Barron Craig, Shane Nelson, Al Fortner, Jeff Nelson, Joey Owens, Chad Griffin and Jay Jordan. Honorary escort will be nephews along with Stephen Collins. The family is at the home on Highway 378 and will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 to 5 Sunday afternoon immediately before the service.
