Robert L. "Bob" Feaster (GRANITEVILLE, S.C.)

GRANITEVILLE, S.C. - Robert L. "Bob" Feaster, Sr., age 78, beloved husband of Patricia Kirkland Feaster, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. He was a son of Edwin Ray Feaster and Flossie S. Feaster. In addition to his wife, other immediate family members include his daughter, Robin Feaster Patterson, son-in-law, Ricky Patterson, and grandson, Alan Patterson, all of North Augusta; his son, Robert L. Feaster, Jr.,of Graniteville, S.C.; two sisters, Betty Feaster Bell of Graniteville, S.C. and Carol Feaster Steele of Summerville, S.C. He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Ray Feaster, Sr. and a sister, Vera Tudor. Bob was a native of Aiken County, S.C. He grew up in Graniteville, S.C. and spent much of his career in North Augusta, S.C. Bob attended the University of S.C. and Augusta College. He served in the US Army. He was a member of Midland Valley First Church of the Nazarene. Bob owned and operated Robert L. Feaster Nationwide Insurance Agency in Belvedere, S.C. for 30 years. He was also a S.C. Realtor and operated in that capacity over the years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. John Faircloth and Dr. Brent VanHook officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will be private. The family has asked that memorials be made to Midland Valley Christian Academy, P.O. Box 645, Clearwater, S.C. 29822.
