AIKEN, S.C. - Mrs. Kittie H. Jackson of 1910 Williston Rd., departed this life on May 18, 2009, at the University Hospital. Mrs. Jackson was a retired employee of Kings Mill. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 22, 2009, at 1 p.m., at the Straight Gate Apostolic Church, 352 Cedar Hill Rd., McCormick, S.C., with the Elder Andrew Thomas officiating. Mrs. Jackson is survived by one daughter, Delinda (Emmett) Williams, Virginia Beach, Va.; three sons, Gerald (Rosalyn) Jackson, Aiken, S.C., Ken (Lanie) Jackson, Ft. Walton, Fla., Bernard (Elizabeth) Jackson, New Ellenton, S.C.; one sister, Ida Cunningham, McCormick, S.C.; one brother, George H. Harper, McCormick, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Public viewing begins at 12 noon on Thursday, May 21, 2009, at Cheatham Funeral Home, 3187 Augusta Rd. (Hwy. 421), Langley, S.C., Friday, May 22, 2009, at Straight Gate Apostolic Church, McCormick, S.C., from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. Cheatham Funeral Home is in charge of services.
