AUGUSTA, Ga. - Elder James Hopkins of South Kensington Drive entered into rest Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Medical College of GA. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors are his wife, Helen Hopkins; three daughters, Kitina Hopkins, Lakeshia (Tyrone) Hopkins Bennett and Ieshia Hopkins; one son, Jer'Michael Hopkins; two grandsons, James Hopkins and Aziyah Hopkins, all of Augusta; 4 sisters, Betty Taylor, Miami, Florida, Earlean Riley, Barbara Ann (Rod) Reason, Annie Hopkins, all of Sylvania, Ga.; 3 brothers, Harry Hopkins, Miami, Florida, Lester Hopkins, Statesboro, Ga., and Jeffrey Hopkins, New York; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
