AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Sunday, May 17, 2009, at GA War Veterans Nursing Home, Mr. Anthony C. Haerle, 86, husband of Mary Agnes Haerle. Mr. Haerle was a native of Tell City, IN. He served in the US Army during WW II. Mr. Haerle was a member of Knights of Columbus, American Legion of Foreign Wars and an associate member of the Alleluia Christian Community. He was a member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. Family members in addition to his wife include daughter: Rosemary Shrewsbury and husband Mark of Augusta; sons: Brother Thomas Haerle of Chicago, IL, Lawrence Haerle of Augusta, John Haerle and wife Jeanette of Ottawa, IL; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with Rev. Mark Van Alstine officiating. Interment will follow at Alleluia Cemetery, Dearing, GA.
