THOMSON, Ga. - Alan Charles Doherty of Thomson, GA entered into rest May 17, 2009 at University Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Sue Doherty. Mr. Doherty was born in Massachusetts and was the son of the late Albert Doherty and the late Margarette Sylvestor Doherty. He served in the U. S. Air Force and was retired as a Truck Driver. Mr. Doherty was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Survivors include: wife: Sue Doherty, Thomson, GA; son: Rodney Doherty, Thomson, GA; daughters: Cheri Ayers, Orlando, Monique Doherty, Long Island; 3 grandchildren.
