MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mrs. Jean Creech Kelley, 76, entered into rest Sunday, May 17, 2009. Jean Kelley was a native and life long resident of the Augusta area. She was a retired secretary for Medical College of Georgia. Jean was a member of Martinez Baptist Church and was regarded as an excellent cook, fed everybody that was invited into her home and had a fondness for children. She loved to play card and board games with her children and grandchildren. Family members include her son: George W. Kelley IV (Janet) of Evans; daughters: Suzanne Kelley Holmes (Lanse) of Atlanta, GA, June Kelley Laubinger (Richard) of Henderson, NV; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in Westview Cemetery with Rev. Billy Faulk officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607Commons Blvd., Augusta, GA 30909.
