AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Jack Conrad Brown, 92, of Augusta, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 17, 2009 Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church at 11:00 AM with Dr. Robert Leslie Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Brown McKenzie and husband Donald of Knoxville, TN, Mary Brown Tidwell and husband Joel of Douglasville, GA; four grandchildren, Jason Patrick McKenzie, Melissa Tidwell Pittman and her husband Robbie, Travis Joel Tidwell and his wife Molly, Merritt Elizabeth Tidwell, and one great granddaughter, Mary Emmett Pittman. He is preceded in death by his wife Ruby Davidson Brown. Mr. Brown was retired as an accountant from Babcock and Wilcox after 42 years of service to the company. He was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County and a member of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church where he was a member of the Covenant Sunday school class. Hatcher Jr., Jason Patrick McKenzie, Robert Doyle Pittman, Dr. David Whitaker, Jerry Buckner and Matt Henderson.
