WHAT MY BUSINESS DOES: I rent stork signs for a baby's arrival, and I flock yards with flamingos and any personal yard sign you would need.

HOW DID I GET STARTED: When ... my wife (and I) had our last baby, there was no one that rented storks, so I came up with the idea to start my own rental business. Now I have one here and in California.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE BUSINESS: When I deliver the signs, just to see the smile on the parents' face. That's what makes it worth it.
WHAT YOU DON'T LIKE ABOUT THE BUSINESS: Nothing. I love the business.
WHY YOUR BUSINESS STANDS OUT: When people see my storks, they always ask me about them.
YOUR BEST BUSINESS ADVICE: Try something. I did not know how this would go, I just tried it, and it's doing very well. So my advice is: Try something. If you have an idea; go for it.
WHERE DO I SEE MY BUSINESS IN FIVE YEARS: I hope I am in three to four more states, and hopefully I am doing double business ... locally.
BIGGEST CHALLENGE IN THE BUSINESS: Getting started and getting the money to start it. Also getting your name out there -- that was the challenge for me.
ROLE MODELS/INSPIRATIONS: My dad; he owns a locksmith business, Pops Locks; and my wife and kids.
