AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Napier Tedards Holland, 92, wife of the late Owen Lyman Holland, entered into rest on Sunday, May 17, 2009 after a long extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill in N. Augusta. Additional survivors include one son, Trey Holland of Augusta, GA, one daughter, Robin Holland Heeter of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Betty T. Snellings of Augusta, GA, Dolores T. Littlejohn of Tallahassee, FL; 3 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. A life-long resident of N. Augusta, SC. Mrs. Holland was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Augusta. She was active in Girl Scouts of America. She was a Substitute Teacher, a Duplicate Bridge Player. Mrs. Holland worked for Cullum Galleries. During her time of illness she was on the way to becoming a ACBL Life Master. She attended Furman University and Augusta State College.
