STAPLETON, Ga. - Mrs. Cleo Beckworth Martin, 91, wife to the late James C. Martin and daughter to the late Ronnie Beckworth and Ammie Lou Beckworth, entered into rest Saturday May 16, 2009 at Louisville Hospital. Funeral services will be held at James Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 18, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Daryl Price and Rev. Jimmy Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery in Augusta, Ga. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., May 17, 2009 at the funeral home. Mrs. Martin was retired at Sibley Mill as a spinner, and a member of Stapleton Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Tommy (Jane) Neal, Augusta, Ga. and Faye N. (Braddy) Jones, Stapleton, Ga.; three sisters, Dalhia Brown, Jacksonville NC., Sarah Guy, Matthews Ga., and Ann Bell Gay, Stapleton, Ga.; four grandchildren, Leanett Douglas, Patricia Newsome, Keith Neal and Kelvin Neal; seven great grand children, and one great great granddaughter. Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her four brothers and three sisters. Pallbearers, will be Keith Neal, Kelvin Neal, Thomas Beckworth, Ronnie Usry, James Usry, Mike Beckworth, Donnie Guy, Mike Irby, Phillip Brown and Johnny Beckworth.
