Every morning the first thing I look for in The Augusta Chronicle is Rick McKee's cartoon.
Rick is a most gifted cartoonist, saying more with a drawing than others do with a thousand words.
Long live Rick McKee. May he bless us with many more years of smiles and laughter at this crazy, mixed-up world of local and national politics.

Rick McKee is an artist and as such I don't believe he tries to compare himself with any other artists. His subtle humor is always on point and always appreciated by his fans, I'm one of them.
Since the AC won't give us a place to comment on Rick's daily cartoons it is nice to have this forum today to tell Rick to keep up the great work.
Rick, I look for your cartoons daily. It is one place you can always smile. Keep the cartoons coming!!
I agree with GGpap. McKie is miles above the leftist b.s. that seems to be all Garry Trudeau can squeeze out. I think today's cartoon is a perfect example.

They love him now, but if he left the Chronicle and said he only targeted what they told him to, like a certain former artist, he would get jeered by the redneck posse.
