LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Winnie Pearl Norman, entered into rest on Sunday, May 10, 2009, at Lake Crossing Health Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009, at 2 p.m., at New Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Matthew Harden officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Norman was a native of Lincoln County and a faithful member of New Tabernacle Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memories: four sons, Marvin (Carol) Norman, Wallace (Brenda) Norman, Randy (Carrie) Norman and Ben J. Norman, all of Lincolnton, Ga.; twelve grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; five sisters, Sarah (Dwight) Jones, Ruby Carr, Gladys Gresham and Ida Helen Bolton all of Charlotte, N.C. and Eva Bolton of Appling, Ga.; three brothers, Fessor Norman, Tony (Annie) Norman of Charlotte, N.C. and Pettis (Eveck) Norman of Dallas, Texas; two daughters-in-law, Glenda Norman and Emma Lucy Norman both of Lincolnton, Ga.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
