TRENTON, S.C. - Mr. Willie J. Young, 53, of 67 Academy Estate Rd., entered into rest May 10, 2009 at VA Medical Center, Augusta. Funeral arrangements will be announced. Mr. Young was a member of Science Hill Baptist Church, Trenton, S.C. Survivors include his wife, Tina Young, Trenton; three daughters, Teairia Harris, Natalie Williams, and Deloris Harris, all of Trenton; four sons, Demarkus Young, Travis Young, Willie J. Young, Jr., all of Trenton, and Gabriel Harris, North Augusta; father, Press Elam, Edgefield; eight sisters, Mary Catherine (George) McKie, Brenda Young, both of North Augusta, Gwenda (Donald) Owens, Lisa (Isaac) Quattlebaum, both of Aiken, Yolanda Young, Tabitha (Jeff) Weaver, both of Edgefield, Carolyn Elam and Diane Elam, both of Washington, D.C.; six brothers, Ronnie (Veronica) Elam, Melvin (Michelle) Elam, Larry Elam, Leon Elem, all of Maryland, Eric Stroman, Columbia, S.C., and Ronald (Peggy) Young of Va.; 14 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
