Michael Arant (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Entered into rest on Saturday, May 9, 2009, Mr. Michael A. Arant, Sr., 91, husband of the late Mrs. Lois Kemmerlin Arant. Surviving are two sons, Michael Arant, Jr. (Linda), Lexington, SC and Curt Arant (Nicki), North Augusta, SC; three daughters, Betty Jean Nunamaker, Deborah Franklin (Sandy), Diane Ferst, North Augusta, SC.; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Albert F. Arant, Sterling, VA and James M. Arant, Orangeburg, SC, and the late Robert K. Arant, Jr. Mr. Arant was born in Rowesville, SC to the late Robert K. Arant, Sr. and Georgean S. Arant. He was a retired salesman with Borden Dairy and a member of Midland Valley First Church of the Nazarene and their Copen Sunday School Class. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 11 o'clock a.m. at Midland Valley First Church of the Nazarene with Revs. Brent Van Hook and John Faircloth officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Sandy Franklin, Kevin Franklin, Perry Allen, Sr., Ron Arant, Brandon Arant, and B.J. Sherrill. Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Services, U.S. Hwy. No. 1, Langley, SC.
