AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Johnnie Mae McFadden of First Avenue entered into rest Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the residence. Funeral service will be held Monday, May 11, 2009 at 2:p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. A.S. Scott officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. She was a native of Richmond County, GA; a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, retired from Richmond Co. Board of Education and worked for the Augusta Florist. Survivors are 4 daughters, Maxine (Adolphus) Gooden, Anita (Henderson) Byrd, Atlanta, Debra (Ed) Walker, Aiken, SC and Carolyn (Bernard) Traylor, Oxford, GA; 5 sons, Percy McFadden, Jr., Johnny (Barbara) McFadden, James McFadden, William McFadden, all of Augusta and Horace (Annette) McFadden, Atlanta, GA; brother, William (Queen) Bostic, Augusta; grandchildren, Charleyne Wright, Nadine Herrington, Tange Herrington, Jacqueline McFadden, Percy Wright, Scarlett Rouse, Felicia Rogers, Johnny McFadden, Sharon McFadden, Rannette McFadden, Reagan McFadden, Natasha McFadden, James McFadden, Diuntre McFadden, Jomae McFadden, Jimmy McFadden, James Walker, Dedreke Walker, Brandon Traylor, Jalani Traylor, Patrick McFadden, Jammal McFadden, Dennis McFadden, Kimberly Wilson, Keary Dunn, Larry Williams, Kandace Williams, Kenneth Herrington, Anita Herrington, Forica Herrington, Lakeisha Bell, Laron McFadden, Teangel McFadden; a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; one devoted niece, Janis Piper, devoted nephew, Robert Oliver cousins; other relatives and friends.
