EATONTON, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Morgan Johnson, 78, loving wife of the late Mr. Ralph Johnson, entered into rest Friday, May 8, 2009, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 11, 2009, at the Jordan Chapel Church of God, Edgehill, Ga., with Rev. James K. Brown officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Mary is survived by a daughter, Karen Kunz of McDonough; four sons, Don Johnson of Social Circle, David Johnson of Monticello, Ken Johnson of Eatonton, and Vernon Johnson of Ellenwood; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Maudie Arrington of Thomson, Bobbie Radford of Thomson, Dahlia McCoy of Augusta, and Jean Reese of Hephzibah; two brothers, Ray Morgan and Charlie Morgan both of Bedford, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Charlie and Mrs. Mattie Black, and two brothers, John Morgan and J.P. Morgan, one sister, Boots Spear. Pallbearers are Donnie Johnson, Davy Johnson, Eric Johnson, Brandon Kunz, Vince Lentini, and Morgan Williams. The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
