NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Entered into rest on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at his residence, Lt. Richard E. Ballard, Sr., of North Augusta, South Carolina. Funeral services will be conducted (today) Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. from Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1223 Laney Walker Boulevard with The Reverend Jimmy Baylor, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. The remains will lie in state at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
