AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at The Place at Martinez, Mrs. Ola Mae Wright, formerly of Watkins Street, wife of the late Mr. James Wright, Sr. Funeral services will be conducted, today, Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:00 am. from Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 1260 Wrightsboro Road with Pastor Clyde Hill Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Burke County, Georgia. The remains will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. The funeral procession will leave from 3011 Roxbury Court at 10:15 a.m. Mrs. Wright was a native of Chatham County, Georgia and a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors are her loving and devoted children, Ida Wright Green, Eunice Williamson, Linda (Robert) Graham, Sarah (Early) Hickson, James Wright, Jr., all of Augusta and Dorothy (Robert) Green, Amherst, MA; son-in-law, James Gaines, of New York; one sister, Catherine Archie, Augusta; one brother, Willie (Maggie) Dennis, St. Petersburg, FL; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
