Myrtle L. Larimer (DEARING, Ga.)

DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Myrtle L. Larimer, 83, widow of Mr. David Larimer, of Dearing, died Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 7, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Larimer was a native of McDuffie County. She was a homemaker and a member of Fort Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. David Larimer, her parents, Willie and Lucile Radford, her son, Dr. David F. Larimer Sr., her daughter, Virginia Lucile Larimer, and a sister, Shirley R. Bailey. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Diane (Paul T.) Watson, Thomson; a granddaughter, Mrs. Sara (Joe) DeWitt, Dearing; two grandsons, David F. (Amy) Larimer Jr., Covington and Earl R. (Amy) Larimer, Athens; a daughter-in-law, Mary Larimer, Covington; a sister, Clyde (W.C.) Holley, Wrens; a brother, Ray (Mary) Radford, Dearing; two great grandchildren, David F. 'Trace' Larimer III, and Georgia Marie Larimer. The family would like to say a special thanks to Trinity Hospice and Mrs. Carol Whitaker and special caregivers, Maureen, Audrey, Brenda, Jean, Sandra, Angela, Alfreda, and Gwen.
