A Georgia Bureau of Investigation forensic artist sketched how the 57-year-old former marketing professor, accused of murdering his wife and two men near downtown Athens, might look if he shaved his goatee or his hair, or both.

Police released the sketches early Wednesday.

"Under the circumstances, and especially in this case where a heinous crime was committed, it stands to reason he may have changed his appearance in order to avoid apprehension," said Capt. Clarence Holeman, assistant commander of the Athens-Clarke police Criminal Investigations Division.

"I wanted to get the sketches out to the media right now, so people can be on the lookout for him, and be thinking outside of the box that there's another way he might look, minus the beard and the hair," he said.
