ROCK 4 THE RIVER FESTIVAL: Soulhound, Lingo, 48Volt, Phantom Wingo and 40 Going North perform for the Rock 4 the River festival, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Riverfront Marina, 298 Prep Phillips Drive. ART IN THE PARK SIDEWALK CHALK CONTEST: Artists will transform the walkways surrounding the Columbia County Amphitheater and Memorial Gardens into works of art at the inaugural Art in the Park Sidewalk Chalk Contest.
The event will be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the amphitheater and gardens behind the Columbia County Library in Evans, and will also feature drama, dance and other fine art demonstrations.
A $10 registration fee is required to participate in the chalk drawing contest, and participants receive one box of chalk. Judging will take place at 5 p.m., and prizes will be awarded.
