THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Robert Lee Belton, Sr. will be held Wednesday, April 29th at 1 p.m. at Thankful Baptist Church, Glascock Co., with Rev. Charles Belton, Eulogist. The body will lie in state at 12 noon at the church. Interment will follow at the William Hill Cemetery. Survivors: 7 daughters, Brenda (Chris) Stovall, Pam Belton, Sherry Belton, all of Atlanta, Pamela (Amos) McNair, Jeanette (James) Lowe, Glenyss Brinson & Melissa Brinson, all of Thomson; 5 sons, Bobby (Melinda) Wallace of Warrenton, Ricky (Susan) Wallace, Brian Belton, Robert Belton, Jr., all of Thomson & Patrick Belton of Atlanta; 2 sisters, Barbara Hart of Thomson & Louise Jones of Ohio; 3 brothers, Johnny Belton & Cornelius Belton, both of Thomson & Tommy Belton of Augusta; special cousin, Leroy Stokes; 38 grandchildren; & a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
