WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. Paul "PoPo" Marsh, age 83, of Allen Street died Thursday April 23, 2009 at the V.A. Hospital - Augusta. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Monday, April 27, 2009 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Thigpen officiating. Mr. Marsh a native of Jefferson County, GA was the son of the late Mr. Willie Paul and Myrtle Clark Marsh. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WW II and received the American Theater Ribbon and WW II Victory Medal. Mr. Marsh had retired as owner of Warrenton T.V. Co., and a Baptist. Survivors include four sons, Eddy (Barbara) Marsh, Martinez, GA, Randy (Pat) Marsh, Warner Robins, GA, Tommy (Anita) Marsh, Murrieta, CA, and Joey (Rebecca) Marsh, Dallas, GA., two sisters, Elizabeth (Bill) Doggett, Augusta, GA, Joyce Tomlinson, Flint, MI, one brother, Billy (Elaine) Marsh, Warrenton, GA. Seven grandchildren, Paul E. Marsh, Jr., Rachael M. Marsh, Jennifer (Nathaniel) Noler, Jeromy (Heather) Marsh, Jason Aradanas, Kyle Marsh, and Maegan Marsh, a sister- in- law, Dot Marsh Thomson, GA. Mr. Marsh was preceded in death by a brother, James Marsh. Pallbearers will be John Bales, Eddy Marsh, Tommy Marsh, Randy Marsh, Joey Marsh, Jason Aradanas, Paul E. Marsh, Jr. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Sunday evening April 26, 2009 at the funeral home.
