Pascha celebration

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 953 Telfair St., will celebrate Pascha, the Orthodox Easter, with services at 9:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. today.

Tribute to The Sower

Bible Fellowship Church will stage a tribute service Sunday to honor Michael Guido, the longtime evangelist known for his Seeds from the Sower broadcasts on radio and television.

Mr. Guido died in January at the age of 93. Singer-songwriter Archie Jordan will perform at the 10:30 a.m. service at the church, 3701 Old Petersburg Road in Martinez. Call (706) 922-5314.

Estate-planning help

Fellowship meetings

The Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship will meet Wednesday with Bob Garrett, an elder and outreach coordinator for The Alleluia Community, as guest speaker.

The group meets at noon every Wednesday at Golden Corral Restaurant, 227 Bobby Jones Expressway in Martinez.

Town Hall for Hope

More than 3,000 churches, including three in Augusta, will air a live broadcast on the economy Thursday featuring radio talk-show host and author Dave Ramsey.

The free program starts at 8 p.m. and will air at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 3185 Wheeler Road; Vineyard Community Church, 4274 Belair Frontage Road; and the Church of the Holy Comforter, 473 Furys Ferry Road in Martinez.

The broadcast also can be seen online, and questions can be submitted at www.townhallforhope.com.

Women's conference

Ross Grove Baptist Church's annual women's conference starts with a panel discussion at 6 p.m. Friday at the church, 1021 10th Ave.

The conference continues on April 25, with breakfast at 8 a.m., a workshop with the Rev. Betty Anderson and a session with the Rev. Vanessa Stanley. Call (706) 796-8460.

Pastor celebration

Tabernacle Baptist Church will celebrate the second anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. Charles E. Goodman Jr., with a service at 7 p.m. Thursday featuring the Rev. Anthony G. Maclin, the pastor of The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square in Capitol Heights, Md.

A dinner and gospel music tribute with David Harrison and The Bells of Joy starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Tickets cost $25 for adults and $10 for children. All events will be held at the church, 1223 Laney-Walker Blvd. Call (706) 724-1230.

Birdhouses for autism

The annual birdhouse sale of the Knight of Columbus Terence Cardinal Cooke Council runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 4921 Columbia Road in Grovetown.

A preview show is set for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday after the Vigil Mass but requires a $5 admission fee. Refreshments will be served.

The event benefits the Augusta Walk for Autism, an organization that provides scholarships and resources for parents of autistic children. Call (706) 840-1739.

Glory Run 5K

The fifth annual Alleluia Glory Run 5K starts at 8 a.m. April 25. The event also includes a fun run/walk for children and a tot trot for preschoolers.

Register in advance or from 7 to 7:45 a.m. on race day for $18. Proceeds benefit the Alleluia Community School.
