Joseph T. Moore (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Joseph "Junior' Thomas Moore, Sr., of Laney Walker Blvd., entered into rest on Friday, April 10, 2009 at his residence. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Martin offficiating. Mr. Moore, a native of Augusta, was a U. S. Army veteran of Vietnam. Survivors are his wife, Cassandra Moore, Philadephia, PA; one son, Joseph T. Moore, Jr., Philadelphia, PA; one daughter, Diane Moore, Philadephia, PA; adopted son, Kevin Drew, Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren; two brothers, Larry (Maxine) Jefferson, Clearwater, SC, Luther (Chenitta) Dallas, Augusta; three sisters, Lillie (Michael) Dunner, Gwendolyn (Johnny) Cunningham, Ramona (James) Williams, Augusta; dear friend and companion, Dorothy Jones, Augusta; and other relatives.
